Other Uses for Pol-Air
Sports Teams:
No matter the age of the players (or spectators), all teams that practice and play in the heat should have Pol-Air as the first line of defense against dangerous overheating. Just strap Pol-Air onto a small hand truckand power it with a car or motorcycle battery (it draws only 3.9 amps). This will give you the mobility to go onto the field with the unit. You can also make the unit available to players between plays or on the bench. Put in ice and turn on to immediately blow cool, dry air onto an overheated player. Just place the feather-weight cooling tubes under their uniform shirts. You can drain directly out of the unit onto the ground if the unit is placed in an area that will not pose a problem with slipping on wet grass or dirt. If slipping is a potential problem, use the drain basin that fits snugly onto the bottom of the unit, and take advantage of the cold melt water to bulb out a drink of ice water for your players.
Sporting Events:
Pol-Air is mobile on a small hand cart. It can be powered by a car or motorcycle battery (it draws only 3.9 amps). Use one to four hoses to cool and dry yourself and three others wherever you go. You can drain directly out of the unit onto the ground if it is placed in an area that will not pose a problem with slipping on wet grass or dirt. If slipping is a problem, then use the drain basin that fits snugly onto the bottom of the unit, and take advantage of the cold ice water to bulb out a drink.
Boating:
It is easy to strap Pol-Air into your boat and as it draws only 3.9 amps, you can plug directly into the cigarette lighter or power with an auxiliary car or motorcycle battery. We recommend using the drain basin that fits snugly onto the bottom of the unit to catch the melting ice to give you cool water to drink.
RV and Camping:
Just plug Pol-Air into your cigarette lighter or power with your car or motorcycle battery. There is no hot air produced by Pol-Air’s proprietary blower or the motor so you can put the unit in a space near you. Just place the feather-weight tubes under your shirt for cool, dry air.
Recreation Parks, Cruise Ships, and Tourist Sites:
Cool and dry overheated guests before medical intervention is needed. This is the first line of defense to avoid heat exhaustion or can be used to start bringing body temperatures down while medical help is on the way. This is done simply by strapping Pol-Air onto a transport vehicle, a small hand truck, or golf pull cart and plug it in to your cigarette lighter or wire it to your power source, car or motorcycle battery. Fill with ice. Place up to four feather-weight tubes under the shirt to cool and dry one to four guests. If draining water onto walkways poses a problem, use the drain basin to keep traffic areas safe.
Golf Carts:
Just simply strap Pol-Air onto the back of a golf cart and plug into the cigarette lighter. Turn it on using the simple on/off rocker switch between holes. You can drain directly out onto the fairway or you can strap on the drain basin so you can bulb cold water up for a drink.
Firefighters:
Pol-Air will cool and dry up to four Firefighters under their hot, heavy Bunker Gear. Plug Pol-Air into your cigarette lighter or directly onto your power source (The B310 draws only 3.9 amps) Fill with ice and place the feather-weight tubes directly under the gear to cool and dry. You have the option of strapping the drain basin onto the bottom of the unit so you can bulb cold water up for a drink. Pol-Air can either be strapped down in a vehicle for long term use using the sturdy handles for tie-down; or made very portable by strapping the unit onto a small hand cart using a car or motorcycle battery. This makes it possible to bring the B310 great distances from conventional power sources.
Environmental/Hazardous Waste Emergencies:
Pol-air will cool and dry Hazardous Waste Specialists under their hot HAZ-MAT gear. Plug Pol-Air into your cigarette lighter or directly onto your power source (The B310 draws only 3.9 amps). Fill with ice and place up to four feather-weight tubes directly under the gear to cool and dry up to four Haz-Mat specialists. This makes it possible to bring the B310 great distances from a power source.
Automobiles:
Pol-Air can be used as an auxiliary chiller and dryer for those times when you may have to wait for long periods of time in your car with the motor off. As Pol-Air’s B310 draws only 3.9 amps, you should not significantly affect the charge on your battery when your motor is off. Just simply strap the unit and the drain basin onto a seat using the seat belt attached to the sturdy handles, and plug the adaptor into your cigarette lighter. Pol-Air can be left in your automobile and does not have to be removed to be refilled. Just add ice whenever needed to cool and dry up to four passengers using the tubes by placing them under the shirts or using the ‘seat slides’. Note, through the cover fits snugly onto the unit, we recommend strapping the unit’s cover to the handles to prevent the potential of the cover becoming dislodged. WARNING: DO NOTLEAVE CHILDREN, PETS, OR INCAPACATED ADULTS UNATTENED IN PARKED CARS. HEAT KILLS.
Trucks:
Pol-Air’s larger units will be able to be used to keep a driver cool and dry while he/she sleeps in the sleeper. During the day, the unit can be stored in the sleeper. At night, just put the unit on the front seat, fill with ice and put the single tube through the partition and under your blanket.
Entertainment and Fashion Industry:
Backstage and in the lights are very hot. Just strap Pol-Air onto a small hand cart and power with a motorcycle battery and blow cool dry air under your entertainer’s/model’s clothing so their wardrobe and makeup stays cool, dry and crisp between sets. Pol-Air can be strapped onto a small hand cart and powered by a motorcycle battery which makes it very portable and able to travel great distances from conventional power sources. All you need is ice and a battery and your entertainer/model is cool and dry. If draining water onto walkways poses a safety issue, use the drain basin to keep areas dry and safe. You can also use the basin to bulb a cold drink of water for you and your crew.
Equestrian/Veterinary:
Pol-Air has tremendous application in the transportation of horses and other animals during extreme heat or in preparation for race or show. Strap Pol-Air in your trailer where it will not interfere with your animal and power with a cigarette lighter, car or motorcycle battery. (Pol-Air draws 3.9 amps). For cool, dry air, direct up to four feather-weight tubes where needed. If you are able, you can drain the melted ice directly out of the unit. If you are unable to directly drain, you can strap the drain basin on the unit and bulb up cool water for you and your animal. WARNING: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMAL UNATTENDED IN A VEHICLE. HEAT KILLS.
